Notes on the Translation
Regarding the translation of Hegel’s Greater Logic, readers have kindly alerted me to a number of errors. Most are innocuous, but two are serious. I have documented all in three notes published in the Owl of Minerva.

1. Corrections Regarding the Recent Translation of Hegel’s ‘Greater Logic’
The first list of errors, two of them serious: at p. 386, ‘pure reflection’ should read ‘pure negativity’; at p. 723, a subordinate clause is attached to the wrong line.

2. A Second Note Regarding the Recent Translation of Hegel’s ‘Greater Logic’
Two typographical errors in Remark 1 on the calculus (pp. 235 and 241) that entered Hegel’s own text in the 1832 edition and have been reproduced without comment in every subsequent edition and English translation since.

3. One More Note on the Translation of Hegel’s Science of Logic
An error at p. 705 in Hegel’s illustration from Gauss, with the history of the 1923 Lasson emendation that stood behind it; a correction at p. 74; and four further corrections provided by readers.
